Into the Danish winter-4K
time-lapse 4K Ultra HD – Denmark 2016
I have been working long and cold nights to gather the best time-lapse shots of my 4K collection, from December to March. Here is the result! It highlights the beautiful landscapes of Denmark at night, mostly situated in the Northwest of Sjælland. It includes Northern lights, milky way, the Andromeda Galaxy (M31), the Orion constellation, light pillars created by thin atmospheric ice particles, mist and moonrise/set. I am quite stunned by the result of beautiful 4K Ultra HD resolution, which helps preserve sharp details without compromising the image quality due to high ISO’s. Most shots have been taken with Sony Alpha 7r2, and a few with Canon EOS 70D. Some shots have been tracked with the iOptron Skytracker equatorial mount.
